Dr. Piya Ratna Maharjan, President of IYS, commands respect in the realms of social and humanitarian work from his base in Kathmandu, Nepal. As the founder of Metta Center orphanage school, he has dedicated two decades to serving orphaned children. Dr. Maharjan leads Track Nepal, focusing on humanitarian relief and social services worldwide. Committed to the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals, he actively engages in localising campaigns. His affiliations with various organisations allow him to play pivotal roles in promoting peace and development initiatives on a global scale.
